Dennis Sima built the ReadHero app as a Commercial app. This SERVICE is provided by Dennis Sima and is intended for use as is. This policy describes how personal data is processed in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

If you choose to use my Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy.

1. Information Collection and Use

For a better experience, while using our Service, I may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information. The information that I request will be retained on your device and is not collected by me directly.

In-App Purchases & Payment Data

Our App is available internationally and uses the Apple App Store for all financial transactions.

  • Processing: All payments are processed by Apple Inc. (One Apple Park Way, Cupertino, CA 95014, USA).
  • Payment Data: I do not collect, store, or have access to your credit card details, bank account information, or other financial data.
  • Transaction Info: Apple provides me with technical transaction receipts (e.g., Transaction ID, status) to verify your purchase and grant access to premium features.
  • Legal Basis: The processing of this data is necessary for the performance of the contract with you (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR).

2. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and the use of the Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.

  • If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you also enjoy the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
  • Any legal disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Germany.

3. Log Data

I want to inform you that whenever you use my Service, in a case of an error in the app I collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device IP address, device name, operating system version, and the time and date of your use.
